Located in the heart of the Salzburg Sports World, in Altenmarkt/Zauchensee, some 250 km of cross-country ski trails are simply waiting to be discovered by you. Altenmarkt/Zauchensee was crowned one of the top-three cross-country regions in all of Austria.
New info signs, nicely groomed and tracked trails, along with free use of all those trails, are a matter of course here with us. Whether you prefer classic or skating technique, you are destined to find the trail that is perfect for you. You can rest assured that you will always be greeted by perfect snow conditions on the alpine trails of the Rossbrand, Gnadenalm and Zauchensee High Trail. This is something you simply have to do! And the winter scenery is like no other you have ever seen.
Expert skiers find the perfect challenge on the 8 km-long Olympia Trail, on the challenging 12 km-long Forest Trail from Altenmarkt to Zauchensee, or out on our cross-country trail which features automated electronic timing.
